アムステルダムのデザイナーJonathan Puckeyのサイトです。ProcessingやScriptgraherといったプログラミングとデザインを組み合わせて作品を作っています。画像はプログラムによって、一つの映画のシーンを一定のTime-basedなルールに基づいてグリッド状に細かく切断して字幕部分をグラフィカルに配置した本のページです。使われているのはソフィア・コッポラの”Lost In Translation”のシーン！”Killing Time”というタイトルは、洒落っ気を込めたダブルミーニングだと思います。

This is the site of Jonathan Puckey who lives in Amsterdam. He combines Processing and Scriptgrapher that is sorts of programming with way of thinking about designing.The images are a part of books graphically composed subtitles slightly splitted and placed on grid, based on specific rules related time(frames) and dialogs.It is used in Sofia Coppola’s “Lost In Translation” scene! The title “Killing Time” seems to be a funny joke splitting time, I think.
